11. Harden competes for the scoring AND the assist titles
First off, if he wins both there is no possible way that he doesn’t win the MVP trophy.
Secondly, I’m clearly all-in on Harden this season.
Another point, have you watched Harden this preseason (yes, I know)?
Per 36 minutes: 24.7 PPG, 13.1 APG, 7.5 RPG, 10.2 FTA
12. Devin Booker makes over 175 threes, averages over 18 points per game
13. Phoenix is worst team in the Western Conference despite Booker’s output
14. Boston secures the number one defense in the NBA
Jumping from a top five defense to the best defense in the league isn’t really a stretch, but a big man like Al Horford supplying rim protection and the ability to switch onto guards will make this team’s defense superior to the rest.
When the Celtics have their Defensive Death Lineup on the floor this season — Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley, Jaylen Brown, Jae Crowder, and Al Horford — I can only assume the other team will just sacrifice scoring until Stevens gets bored of the excess amount of forced turnovers.
By the way, Marcus Smart is only 22-years-old and there is actual video footage of him on YouTube that shows that most NBA players are literally incapable of dribbling a basketball near or around his personal bubble.
By the way, Marcus Smart is arguably the fourth best defender on his team (I’d say second).
