Predicting the Top-5 Shooting Guards for the 2014-15 NBA Season

Source

5. Klay Thompson:

2013-14 stats: 18.4 PPG on 44.4 FG%, 3.1 RPG, 2.2 APG, 0.9 SPG

Overview: Klay Thompson is part of the best back-court in the NBA. He is, arguably, the best shooting SG in the NBA. He made 223 out of 535 3-pointers last year (41.7%). Klay is not an elite defender by any means, but he is not a terrible on the defensive end of the court. Thompson still has some work to do; he needs to improve on his rebounding and passing. Klay has improved in each of his first 3 seasons, and I expect him to get even better this season. Will his improvement be enough to make him an all-star? Only time will tell.
