Adams was best known for shooting….lots and lots of shooting (but not the Gilbert Arenas or Felton kind). He led the NBA over four consecutive seasons in 3 point shot attempts. Adams also had a 79 game streak of made 3-pointers (from January 28, 1988 – January 23, 1989), an NBA record at the time. It was first broken by Dana Barros and most recently surpassed by Kyle Korver’s 127 game streak. Adams averaged 26 PPG in 1990-91 and has a career high of 54.
