2014 Top NBA Draft Prospects

4. Dante Exum

Dante Exum is a 6’6″ 2-way guard from Australia. Most people view him as a point guard, but only time will tell us whether he’s better suited at the 1 or 2. Exum got people buzzing after measuring in at 6’6″ with a 6’9″ wingspan. Exum aces the upside test. He has the size, athleticism, and skill set to be an elite player. The only problem with Exum is the fact that he played in Australia, so he doesn’t have much of a track record. There’s no doubt he has incredible potential, but will he live up to his potential? If you’re a team drafting in the top 5, do you take the high risk high reward player, or do you take the safe pick and draft someone who played their ball in the U.S.? I’m sure general managers have the 03 draft and Darko Milicic in the back of their minds.
