2014 Top NBA Draft Prospects

Jabari Parker is a 6’8″ small forward from Duke University. Jabari is considered by many people to be the most NBA-ready player. He also seems to be considered the safest pick in this year’s draft. Jabari had an incredible season at Duke, averaging 19 points and almost 9 rebounds per game. There really isn’t much for Jabari to improve on other than his conditioning and strength. He is not an elite athlete, so that will hold him back on the defensive end. What Jabari does have is a great offensive game. He can score from basically anywhere on the floor; behind the arc, mid-range, and around the rim. He is also a pretty good rebounder, as you can see from the number of rebounds he averaged per game. Based on what I have read, it seems like Jabari will end up going number one. Jabari’s lack of athleticism, however,  will result in him being only a one-player, which is what is holding him back from being number 1 on this list.
