The trade/offseason move/domino that EVERYBODY has been waiting to fall has finally fallen. Kevin Love will be traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Yes, Kevin Love has been traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Minnesota Timberwolves receive Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, Thaddeus Young, and a $6.3 million trade exception. And the Philadelphia 76ers receive a 2015 first round pick, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, and Alexey Shved.

It seems crazy that Cleveland would give up TWO number one overall picks plus a future first rounder for an All-Star who’s never been to the playoffs in his six year career (let alone had a record above .500). However, that same guy last season scored more points than Blake Griffin and James Harden; collected more rebounds than Dwight Howard and Joakim Noah; and also made more three-pointers than Kyle Korver. Yes, you read that correctly so take that how you want to. You can call him a stat-stuffer on a bad team or overrated, but there has to be a reason James was so interested in him. After all, they did play together on the 2012 Olympic team together, right?

With how this trade is set up there could be a lot of winners, losers, or surprises. You hear it all the time “what if”. Well, “what if” is the theme of this article and Kevin Love is the subject. Navigate through the page numbers to go to the next “what if”.
