9 Lingering Questions From Draft Night

How bad was Zach LaVine’s reaction after getting drafted by MN?

It isn’t often during the NBA draft (or any professional sports draft for that matter) that you see a young athlete disappointed when he is selected. After being drafted 13th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves LaVine looked overwhelmed as his head crashed into his table. His head rested there for a couple of seconds and everybody thought he was just in shock from the surreal feeling of joining the NBA, but when he stood up it looked as though his lips whispered “F-me”. Now obviously cameras weren’t able to produce the exact sound LaVine said, but we saw it with our eyes. To be brutally honest, I started laughing. In Zach’s offence he later said, “”It’s not a good first impression, that’s not what I wanted. There’s nothing I can do about it now, but I want to let everyone know I’m all in with this organization.” Maybe it was destiny he joins Kevin Love so the UCLA alumni can fight off the Western Conference together (for a season until Love leaves).

In order to be fair to LaVine, Minnesota is drafting in the lottery for a record TENTH STRAIGHT season! I don’t want to make any assumptions, but if you were in the NBA draft you’d probably want to play for literally any of the other 29 teams (unless you’re from Minnesota or enjoy ridiculous weather). I’ll come back to Minnesota’s problems later.

Answer: LaVine’s reaction wasn’t that bad he was just being honest. Besides, there are worst things in the NBA world such as: The Minnesota Timberwolves future, Donald Sterling, and Shaqtin’ A Fool highlights of Kendrick Perkins/Nick Young (in no particular order).

God does give us weaknesses so we can be hmbule and ask him for help after we tried to gain streghnth on our own. He want’s us to try and not sit back and wait for the blessing to happen. Nice blog topic. I myself need to ask for help more and soften my heart and stop being stubborn thinking I can accomplish something by myself with out any help.
