Predicting The NBA All-Rookie First Team

Andrew Wiggins- SF/SG, Minnesota Timberwolves

Andrew Wiggins is a 6’8″ SG/SF from the University of Kansas.  He was drafted number 1 overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he is, more than likely, going to be a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Wiggins role in Minnesota will be much larger than the one he would have played in Cleveland. Wiggins, in my opinion, has the most potential out of any of the guys on this list. He is the most athletic player from this year’s draft class. I’m sure you guys have all heard that he has a max vertical of 44 inches. His athletic ability will make him a tough match-up for most, but he still needs to become more consistent with his jumper and improve his ball handling. These are things I expect him to improve on as the year goes on. Wiggins is determined to be an elite defender someday in this league, and I’m sure he will be an above average defender this year. Andrew Wiggins still has a lot to learn, but an increased role in Minnesota should allow him to put up pretty decent numbers this year and land him on the NBA All-Rookie First Team.
